The challenge

KARD Solutions sells five very different things - civil construction, construction materials, IT and security systems, institutional supplies and printing - to buyers who mostly arrive already knowing which one they need. A procurement officer looking for CCTV installation and a site engineer looking for earthworks have nothing in common except the supplier. The company is also enlisted with a set of government and defence bodies whose names carry real weight with that audience and mean nothing to anyone else. Those credentials had to be visible without turning the homepage into a wall of acronyms.

The approach

Rather than flatten five service lines into one generic "what we do" section, each one got its own page and its own entry in the navigation, so a visitor who knows what they want can get there in a single click. The homepage carries a short summary of all five and then gets out of the way. Quotation requests are the only conversion that matters here, so the request route is repeated in the header, in the hero, and at the end of every service page. The phone number sits in the header on every page - for this buyer, a call is often faster than a form. Credentials are grouped into an "at a glance" panel rather than scattered through the copy, which keeps them prominent for the readers who recognise them and skippable for the readers who do not.

The build

Built as a static site with Astro, so every page is server-rendered HTML at build time with no client-side framework. Pages are plain documents, which is what this content is - there is no application behaviour to justify shipping a runtime. The only JavaScript on the page is a small inline handler for the mobile navigation toggle, wired with `aria-expanded` and proper open and close labelling. Everything else, including the full navigation and all service content, is present in the HTML whether scripts run or not. Service pages share one template driven by structured data, so adding a sixth service line is a content edit rather than a new page build.

The site states the company’s own figures - year established, team size, overseas sourcing offices and sectors served. Those are KARD Solutions’ claims about its own business, presented as the client provided them.
